Homes, LLC, our mission statement "To build

phrase. It is the foundation of what
our company is built upon.
Founded in
1997, by Doug Collins, Sovereign Homes, LLC,
has been helping people achieve the American
Dream of Home Ownership. As Founder
and Chief Executive Officer of Prudential
Collins-Maury, Inc., REALTORS, the third
largest Real Estate Company in Shelby
County, Mr. Collins was attracted to the
Home Building Business as the growth of mass
production home building companies began
entering the market. After 23 years of
selling homes in the Memphis and surrounding
areas, he became frustrated with new home
builders and the lack of customer service
and quality construction. He felt that
a homebuilder should not be forced to
forsake quality for an affordable product.
Though we build several expensive custom and
speculative houses every year, you will see
the same construction trucks attending the
building process from each of our price
spectrums. From cement to floor
covering, from plumbing to roofing
contractor, again and again, the same
sub-contractors, you will find our pride and
quality in each home, no matter what the
price.
Though we are
a young local homebuilding company, Doug
Collins and Sovereign Homes, LLC have
developed a strong reputation over the last
several years and even won the prestigious
2009 Builder of the Year awarded by the
Memphis Area Home Builder's Association.
As past President of the Memphis Area
Association of Realtors, the Tennessee
Association of Realtors, and the 2005
Tennessee Realtor of the Year, Mr. Collins
understands the needs, desires, and
expectations of the new homeowner.
Furthermore, serving as the Vice President
of the Memphis Area Home Builders
Association, and as President in 2008, Mr.
Collins demands a higher level of quality
and service throughout his organization.
That's why you will often find him walking
the subdivision, personally inspecting each
home, and greeting our homeowners on the
weekends. The hallmark of the quality
builder is how they treat every individual.
